A 47-year-old Maryland man asked to leave the United States on his own; ICE says a judge denied that request on Sept. 18, and he died in ICE custody on Sept. 29 with the cause unknown, pending an autopsy. Leaving is a decision a judge takes part in, so talk to a lawyer before you give up a job, a lease or a court case.
